Discount of €30,00 (Euros) per person applicable with 6 passengers
traveling together on the same tour. Discount increases to €50,00 per
person with 8 passengers traveling together on the same tour and €80,00
per person with 10 passengers traveling together on the same tour.
Discount is applied to each person’s account at final payment date (70
days prior to departure on Land tours). Additional passengers cannot
be added to the Friends & Family program after the final payment date.

Traveling as a Group Coordinator with us means:
One free space (in single room occupancy) on the tour for every 15 full
paying travelers
Two free spaces (in double room occupancy) on the tour for every 25 full
paying travelers
Full time staff at your disposal during working hours for trip planning
and 24 hour assistance for emergencies.
As a Group Coordinator, you must orchestrate all trip planning and
organization with our company on behalf of your group.
Once you begin your Sicilian trip, you are on vacation and our
professional tour director will take over handling all logistics,
leaving you free to enjoy Sicily with your traveling companions.

Where do I begin recruiting travelers?
Here are some suggestions of where to begin recruiting travelers. Even
if people aren't initially interested in going, word of mouth is always
the best form of advertising!

-Members of social/recreational organizations (i.e. community centers,
alumni associations, country clubs)
-University student groups or school groups in general
How do I begin recruiting travelers?
It's best to begin recruiting your travelers at least 6 to 9 months
before you intend to travel. Leave yourself plenty of time to organize
and advertise the tour and group.
First, be clear which tour you would like to offer to your prospective
recruits. Our Sicilian Highlights is a great, all-encompassing tour with
guaranteed departures each Saturday--which allow for flexibility when
choosing your group's ideal tour date.
Once you've chosen your tour and date, hold an informational meeting for
interested travelers and spread the word
PAY ATTENTION: Our tours include LAND-ONLY SERVICES. All AIRFARE
or other arrangements for arriving in Sicily for the tour are up to you
and the group to organize on your own.
Are you trying to organize a
Sicilian
Highlights group? If you can't reach your group
number goals, don't despair! Even if we can't provide you with the
special group rate, we can still guarantee services at our regular tour
rate per person in double occupancy.
Here are a few tips for promoting your tour:
Put a notice in your local newspaper, promoting
the tour highlights and be sure to include details for your
informational meeting.
Share the tour itinerary with friends and family and invite them to the
informational meeting. Enlist them to help spread the word among their
friends and colleagues.
Send an email to all of your contacts advertising your trip and
providing details about the informational meeting. Encourage them to
forward your email along to their contacts.
Utilize local bulletin boards at your disposal (like those at libraries,
civic organizations, houses of worship, country clubs, universities,
sports facilities, restaurants...especially Italian & Sicilian ones) by
hanging posters or flyers.
SPECIAL: If you can organize a group larger than 30 people, we
will provide a special commission deal just for you!
After your meeting
After holding your meeting, send a note of appreciation to the people
who attended. Use this as an opportunity to remind those people who have
not yet booked of the approaching deadline!
Reservation procedures
We will send you the format to print for our reservation forms. As
recruits decide to book the trip, they should return the reservation
forms to you. Check to make sure they have been completely correctly and
signed. Make sure credit card information is included (Visa, Matercard,
or American Express only please) and you name/organization name is also
listed on the reservation form. Then forward these reservation forms on
to us.
Remind travelers that they will receive a confirmation from Tradizione
Turismo T.O. within three weeks and that they should check the
information on their confirmation carefully. Travelers should call you
immediately if any revisions to their confirmations are needed—you, in
turn, need to then call us as soon as possible with these changes.
Materials your group members will receive
As we receive each traveler’s reservation, we will send each of them
their own confirmation packet including the following materials:
A detailed day-by-day itinerary, including descriptions of optional
excursions/services available
A copy of the traveler’s credit card receipt and invoice/confirmation of
services
Booking Optional Excursions
Once the group is confirmed, we will need to know which travelers will
be purchasing the optional excursions & services as well as room
requests (twin beds, etc). All of this information should be included on
the original reservation form.
However, as some clients need time to decide about purchasing optional
excursions, it is your duty as Group Coordinator to help confirm the
traveler’s choices with our company by the final payment date.
Under some conditions, it is possible to decide to purchase the optional
excursions once in Sicily. However, as Group Coordinator, you must be
responsible for checking with our company to see by which date we must
have optional excursion payment/confirmation.
You will earn a free space for yourself on any optional excursion(s)
that are pre-purchased (paid for by the final payment date). No free
spaces will be granted for optional excursions purchased on the tour.
