ITINERARY: Every effort is made to provide the tour as described below, however the itinerary may change due to situation beyond our control.
1 Day (Tuesday) Taormina Cooking Course Start 8:45-9:00AM | End 2:00PM This morning independent transfer to a local Restaurant (centrally located) in Taormina to meet the Chef. A brief walk takes us to an open air market where we'll purchase fresh fruit, vegetables and all the ingredients necessary for the cooking course. Then we return to the local restaurant to start cooking. At the end of the cooking course, we will enjoy our scrumptious creations with the perfect compliment—a beautifully paired Sicilian wine. Dessert follows accompanied by a typical local Dessert wine. BUON APPETITO!
2 Day (Wednesday) Etna Jeep Ride up to 1.800 mt. Start 8:30-8:45AM | End 5:00PM Today you are picked at your hotel up by an off-road’s driver and transferred to Etna Volcano. Enjoy a lovely Jeep experience through Etna area: Mount Fontana (view of Bove Valley), the Thieves Cave (grotta dei ladroni), extinct craters of Sartorius Mounts, lavaflow from 2002 eruption. Light-lunch in a local Farmhouse to taste typical Sicilian dishes. During afternoon off-road drive along the Linguaglossa-Castiglione and Alcantara Gorges. Short visit to Canyon entrance (admission fee: not included). Later we return to Taormina.
3 Day (Thursday) Taormina/Piazza Armerina&Agrigento/Palermo Start 8:30-8:45AM | End 5:00PM Todayyou are greeted at meeting point and driven through the interior of Sicily to reach Piazza Armerina and view the ruins of the Roman Villa of Casale (Admission Fee: not included). The mosaics discovered here are celebrated among scholars of antiquity. Then we continue to Agrigento where we visit the finest of all ancient Greek sites—the complete Doric Temples (Admission Fee: not included). In the afternoon we continue to Palermo, the capital of Sicily.

IMPORTANT TO KNOW: The tours-excursions are operated: -with a Driver-Guide up to 7 people; -with a Driver & Tour Escort (when clearly specified) from 8 people; -with a Driver & Local Guide (when clearly specified) from 8 people. The Driver Guide is not a Local Guide --Local Guide: is the only professional, with a Regional license, permitted to conduct visits and tours in all sites and museums within a city -- and he cannot escort you inside the monuments because this is not allowed by Italian Rules. MEETING POINT: We will provide the Meeting Points information at time of booking. ADMISSION FEE: The price of this excursion does not include the Admission Fees. If you are over 65 or under 18 years old and you have EU or Commonwealth Passport, the admission fees are free of charge for you showing your document (or copy of your document) on the spot.
GRATUITIES (We Suggest): - The suggested amount for the Driver Guide have to be an average between EURO 30,00 to EURO 50,00 (for a full day excursion) per day based on the efficiency and service you receive. -Gratuities to restaurants are never included in the bill. The restaurant cover charge is not a tip. If paying with credit cards in Italy & Sicily, please be so kind as to pay your tip separately in cash to the waiter. This should be 10% of the total bill. -The use of public toilets requires a payment to the attendant of EURO 0,30 cents. Public toilet charge EURO 0,50 cents. CANCELLATION POLICY: -Eur 25,00 of total reservation will not be refunded up to 15 days -50% of total reservation will not be refunded up to 3 days -No refund for late cancellation up to 2 days & noshow.

On the second day: Etna Volcano: Scenic Jeep Drive to the beatiful volcano. With this excursion we explore the north side of the Volcano up to 1800 meters.

LANGUAGES This Excursion is operated by a basic English speaking jeep driver.
STYLE OF TRIP This Excursion is Collective. In each Jeep you can find a maximum of 6 people on.
WHAT TO PACK? The most important ingredient to a successful excursion is exploration. Please pack comfortable hiking boots. During summer and spring season do not forget a wind jacket, hat & sun screen. From October to end of March do not forget your coat.

CURRENCY: -The EURO is the currency accepted in Italy. The preferred method of payment is the EURO or a major credit card (Visa, Mastercard, American Express). -Traveler’s checks are not welcomed by local merchants. -Check with your bank to determine whether or not your ATM card will work overseas and find out what is the maximum amount of cash is that can be dispensed on a daily basis. (Note: The maximum amount available for withdrawl in Europe is usually less for “foreign” ATM cards. If you try to withdraw an amount and have problems, try again selecting a smaller amount to withdraw). -If you do not have a cash card, you can go to the currency desk and they will exchange your currency into EURO. The other option is to go to your local bank BEFORE leaving your country and obtain EURO. Please do this well in advance of your trip as some local banks might need to order EURO from their main branch. GENERAL SAFETY: Sicily is a pretty safe island. You should take obvious precautions, as in any city around the world, such as keeping any bags and possessions under your control and being alert for bag-snatchers and pickpockets in crowded places.
